COMPLIANCE Risk Software is a powerful software package designed to be used by design engineers, safety professionals, consultants and machinery end users to enable Machinery Safety issues to be assessed and recorded to enable compliance with European legislation.

Based around checklists, it can be used for CE Marking of Machinery. A checklist can break down any requirement be it regulations, EN Standards or even just individual business practices.

COMPLIANCE Risk Software includes these checklists:

CE Marking: Addresses the Essential Health & Safety Requirements (EHSR’s) of Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
CE Audit: Confirms whether CE marking has been carried out correctly.

Simplify requirements with checklists

Compliance Risk Software breaks down the complex requirements of a given checklist into a series of statements. For each statement you simply need to determine if your machine best matches one of the following:

Agree
Disagree
Not Applicable

Where you disagree, the software then prompts you to do a risk assessment.

Risk Assessments

Users can perform Risk Assessments using a Hazard Rating Number (HRN) numbering scheme quantifying risks according to:

Likelihood of Occurrence
Degree of Possible Harm
Frequency of Exposure
Number of People at Risk

This method, was adopted from the HRN system first published by Chris Steel, meets the criteria set for in EN ISO 12100 and allows a single number to be viewed in order to give an estimation of the risk.
