Ease of Use
The software is easy to use, reliable and consistent. The Essential Health and Safety Requirements (EHSR’s) of the Machinery Directive can be addressed. Comments can be made against each, to explain how they are being met. Checklists can be printed to be added to the Technical File, which ultimately leads to the CE Marking of the machinery. A Declaration of Conformity or Incorporation can be printed. Risk assessments can be carried out and linked to the EHSR’s. A Risk Report can be printed and added to the Technical File. Control Integrity assessments can be carried out to EN ISO 13849 and Performance Levels determined (PL r), these can be done as a separate task, or as part of the risk assessment process. Standards Used lists can be produced and documented for the Technical File. Photographs can be added to risk assessments, or to demonstrate EHSR’s have been met.
Checklists
There is a CE Audit checklist that allows CE Audits to be carried out on machinery and documentation to ensure the CE marking has been carried out correctly.
Other checklists can be produced against specific EN Standards, and added. These can be provided by the end user, or by DD ITS Ltd as required from only £650 plus VAT.
Against all of these assessments, if a non compliance is found, risk assessment can be carried out within the software, to produce useful Risk Reports, to allow Action plans to be developed, and changes to be made to guarding and safety related control systems in a controlled manner, ensuring documentation is available.
